I don’t mind the rain so much but when its supposed to be sunny by now and I’m itching to ride my motorcycle, rain is so blah. But, you make the most of any situation right? Adapt and overcome. Time to bring myself back out of vacation (in my head) to the here and now. Our son’s little hamster, Flower, passed away yesterday. He and his brother had taken Flower out of the cage to hold her, set her down on the bed and our cat jumped up really quick and grabbed her. We managed to get her away from the cat but not before internal damage had been done. Our son had taken this picture of her and found it in his digital camera after she was gone. Flower was a sweet little girl and we will miss her!

We have been getting requests to do 301 redirects from a www. site to a non www. site (same site). This only creates numerous problems and makes things such as blogs in Fantastico not work at all. SEO “experts” are telling our clients that this is a must have redirect or your site will not be indexed properly or that they will be penalized. This is, in fact, absolutely false.
The truth of the Google duplicate content penalty is quite simply that there is none! If that confuses you, then you have been reading too many misinformed forums or blogs where people get stuck on some popular term that they have no idea what it means, and then profess to be experts.
The only experts on the Google duplicate content penalty, and the only people who are qualified to define it, are Google, and in Google’s own words “There is no such thing as a duplicate content penalty”. This comes directly from Google’s Webmaster Central Blog.
Speaking of SEO, Pappashop will never solicit you for SEO services. Ever.
