How to set up Sales Tax in Mals-e

If you will be collecting sales tax:

  • Log into your Mals-e account
  • Click on Cart Setup
  • Click on Tax and Shipping
  • Click Sales Tax
  • Check the box that says "Tax will be calculated using one of the rates specified below."
  • UNcheck the box that says "Shipping is taxable"
  • Scroll down and select Option #6
  • Put in the amount your state charges for sales tax and select your state.
  • Click Submit Changes
