Your domain is yourdomain.com. Lets say you want to install a blog. You install a blog and put in in a directory called yourdomain.com/blog/. You can turn the directory called blog into a sub-domain by adding it as a sub-domain from your CPanel. You can access your blog as yourdomain.com/blog.
- This costs you nothing.
To add a sub domain:
- Login to the cPanel
- Click on the Server icon located at the top menu.
- Click on Sub Domains on the left hand side
- Type in the sub domain name
- Click Add
